Painting, Pen & Ink

I use mainly watercolour in my work to produce paintings based on nature but I also enjoy using pen & ink, coloured pencils and pastels.

Since my retirement in 2019 I have been able to fully pursue my hobby of painting. I have always enjoyed painting and drawing and over the years have attended art classes that focused on the use of oils and watercolour. I gain inspiration from photographs and also from my garden, the local area and holiday destinations. I have a small sketch book which I often take with me when I am out and about.
